PolWD joins the Celebration of ASEAN Month

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok, Thailand, by the Founding Fathers of ASEAN: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.

Per Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 5 series of 2023, which encourages agencies to consider organizing their ASEAN awareness activities, the Polomolok Water District participated in the celebration of the 56th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Founding Anniversary on 29 August 2023. To manifest the appreciation of diversity of Philippine culture, PolWD employees wore Filipiniana and tribal attires.
